Creative New Mexico, the state’s arts advocacy organization, in partnership with Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads (RRCC), will host the annual ART NM! event next month.

Art NM! is set for April 5 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Sandoval County Administration Building. This year’s theme, “Art Unites,” emphasizes the role of arts and culture in community building.

According to a press release, the free, family-friendly event will showcase the work of over 25 local artists and non-profit organizations, highlighting the diverse creative resources available in Rio Rancho. Attendees can expect to see a variety of art forms and learn about opportunities to engage with the arts community.

“The Sandoval County Administration Building vestibule is an expansive, light-filled space which is the perfect setting for our art show,” said Neal Shotwell, Executive Director of Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads.

ART NM! is part of a statewide initiative taking place in seven New Mexico cities in April, aiming to promote the value of arts and culture in economic development and community prosperity. Funding for ART NM! is provided in part by a grant from New Mexico Arts.
