According to an announcement by Apache Nugget Corporation, the Apache Nugget casino near Cuba, will reopen on Feb. 14.
The casino, located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 550 and State Highway 537, was a popular community hub before closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a press release.
“We’re thrilled to be back and better than ever,” said Tony J. Amormino, President and CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation.
The casino will feature 80 new slot machines, electronic table games, a sports book, and a Players Club. According to the company, it will also offer dining options, live music, and a “lively vibe.”
The travel center also includes a convenience store, gas station and trucker’s lounge.
A reopening ceremony will be held at the casino on Feb. 14 at 1 p.m.
