In Rio Rancho, Legendary Limo Service is bringing back luxury travel with a vintage twist to Sandoval, Bernalillo and Santa Fe counties. The company offers a one-of-a-kind luxury experience evoking the glamour and elegance of a bygone era.

Bobbi and Curt Huber founded Legendary Limo Service in 2023, offering a unique vintage chauffeur experience perfect for weddings, holiday parties, concerts, birthday dinners, nights out on the town or even Christmas light tours.

“You see all these cool cars driving down the road and think, ‘Man, that guy must be having fun in that car,’ or ‘That girl must be having fun posing with that car or working on that car,’” Bobbi Huber said. “You know, it’s not an experience that you get to have every day, and we wanted to be able to share that with other people so that they can enjoy it too.”

Combining Bobbi’s expertise in hospitality with Curt’s passion for engineering and classic car restoration, this husband and wife team has turned their love for vintage cars and exceptional service into a thriving business celebrating New Mexico’s unique charm.

Curt, U.S. Air Force veteran and electrical engineer at Intel, meticulously restored their prized pearl-white 1937 Cadillac Series 70 Fleetwood after acquiring it from a Maine auction. Meanwhile, Bobbi draws on her degree in hospitality and tourism to craft unforgettable experiences for their customers.

According to Huber, riding in the Cadillac feels like stepping back in time to the golden age of American history. They enhance the experience by dressing in vintage-inspired chauffeur uniforms and playing classic music during the ride, immersing customers in vintage nostalgia.

“I’ve heard so many times while [customers are] in the car ‘This is perfect and that is music to my ears,’ I love making people happy and sharing the experience,” Bobbi said.

She said the company plans to expand by adding a 1946 Cadillac, a six-door airport limousine that can accommodate up to seven passengers in the back seat.

According to Bobbi, the community has embraced the company, with the Cadillac drawing cheers in local parades and taking first place in the antiques class at the Annual Park ‘n the Park Car Show. Legendary Limos also contributes to charity events and supports organizations like the Rio Rancho Players and Tamaya Horse Rehab.

“We always try to do something to help and promote the community and create greater bonds within the community,” she said.

The limo service covers Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe. For Sandoval and Bernalillo Counties, the hourly rate is $150 plus tax for the first hour and $125 plus tax for each additional hour. In Santa Fe County, the rate is $275 plus tax for the first hour, with each additional hour costing $150 plus tax.
