The City of Vision marked the grand opening of Parnall Law Firm’s first office in Rio Rancho and its third overall location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 20 at 2003 Southern Blvd. SE, Suite 126, in the Southern Plaza.

Members of the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce presented Bertrand “Bert” Parnall, owner and CEO of Parnall Law Firm, with a certificate of recognition. They commended the firm’s dedication to the community and its efforts to improve access to legal representation in the city and welcomed it to the Rio Rancho community.

The new Rio Rancho office joins the firm’s existing locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

“This grand opening of the Parnall Law office right here in dynamic, growing, thriving Rio Rancho, known for its resilience and progress, is the perfect place to deepen our roots and expand our mission,” Parnall said. “Like Rio Rancho, we have grown with intention and purpose.”

According to Parnall, the new location was two years in the making and marks an important step in the firm’s growth, which has expanded from a three-person operation 15 years ago to a team of 105. He said the team is united by its core values, which he calls the five “T’s” — team, talent, truth, tenacity and triumph.

“I’m incredibly grateful to all of those at the Chamber of Commerce, local law enforcement of Rio Rancho, business leaders in the community and my fellow legal professionals,” Parnall said. “I’m grateful for your support and partnership together, we can build a brighter future for Rio Rancho and beyond.”

According to Parnall, his upbringing shaped his passion for justice.

“Growing up in a family of miners, doctors, educators and legal professionals, taught me the importance of standing up for others,” he said.

Parnall said his background inspired him to shift his focus from prosecuting criminals to representing victims, helping clients secure justice and healing in the face of unimaginable challenges.

According to the law firm’s website, Parnall started his legal career as a prosecutor in Valencia and Sandoval counties, handling serious cases involving violent offenders. He transitioned to personal injury law in 2004, founding Parnall Law in 2009 and has since helped secure over $350 million in compensation for clients.

“This new office is more than a building. It’s a testament to the hard work, passion and dedication of every single member of our team, and to the trust placed in us by the communities that we serve, and my own journey is deeply rooted in service,” Parnall said.
