Tim Sheahan has been named president and CEO of St. Felix Pantry in Rio Rancho.

Sheahan joined the team Oct. 1, succeeding Mary Angela Parkins, who retired in November after seven years with the organization.

“I have incredible shoes to fill and look forward to the challenge of continuing the legacy of serving the people who need us most,” Sheahan said.

Most recently Sheahan was the executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association – New Mexico Chapter. While in that position he was able to increase donor and volunteer groups, funding sources and was an integral part of introducing caregiver programs to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico.

Before taking on that position, Sheahan spent more than 30 years working for the Boys & Girls Clubs. He has worked all over the country from Seattle, where he was born, to the East Coast and Midwest, Denver, and finally, seven years in Albuquerque as the president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tim Sheahan as the new CEO of St. Felix Pantry,” said Mark White, chairman of the Board at St. Felix Pantry. “Tim’s extensive experience in nonprofit management and his dedication to serving the community make him the ideal leader to guide our organization into the future.”
