Nearly 200 pilots got an early start to the 2024 Balloon Fiesta at Albuquerque Aloft, an event that sees balloons take off from elementary schools across the metro including this one at Rio Rancho Elementary School.
Since 2005, Albuquerque Aloft has offered parents, students, families, and teachers the opportunity to meet the pilots and crew while experiencing the excitement of watching and learning how a balloon flies. Albuquerque Aloft provided a visual preview of Balloon Fiesta, with balloons launching from different sites around the city simultaneously on Oct. 4.
