The 2024 Sandoval County Treasurer’s Office and Sheriff’s Office Toy Drive is now underway.

The annual toy drive collects new toys for children of families experiencing economic hardship and for children who will spend the holidays in a hospital or are under medical care. Toys will be distributed throughout Sandoval County to children of the Navajo Nation, several participating pueblos, Presbyterian Rust Hospital Pediatrics and Presbyterian Medical Services in Cuba. The deadline to donate toys is Friday, Dec. 20.

“The holidays are a time of joy and giving, and for those who are facing challenges, a toy can be more than just a gift,it’s a symbol of hope and love, reminding them that they are seen, cared for, and never alone,” Sandoval County Treasurer Jennifer Taylor said.
