The Sandoval County Tourism Department and the Sandoval County Tourism Alliance announced last week the Mountain West Brew Fest in Bernalillo has been nominated for the New Mexico Top HAT Finalist Award for the first time.
The Mountain West Brew Fest, held Aug. 24 at Loretto Park, featured beers from seven New Mexican breweries and a fun experience for visitors while highlighting the growing craft beer scene.
Each year the state hospitality association recognizes initiatives and individuals that drive tourism to the state and highlight New Mexico communities with its TOP HAT awards. Categories include marketing and advertising campaigns, events, attractions, sustainability efforts and individuals in the hospitality industry.
“The Town would like to thank the hard work and dedication of the Town’s staff and volunteers for making the event a great success,” said Christina Jones, Bernalillo’s director of economic and community development. “We ask that everyone keep a lookout for new and exciting changes to come in 2025 for this signature annual event.”
The 2024 event featured a vibrant and festive atmosphere complete with music. The main stage featured all-day live music performances that included Nashville recording artist/group, Brandon Saiz Band.
Mountain West Brew Fest 2024 marked nine years as a signature annual event for Bernalillo and Sandoval County.
