Medieval and Traditional Ballads

Scott and Johanna Hongell-Darse are making their way to Bernalillo to perform some medieval and traditional ballads. The pair’s wanderings have led them from Finland and Iowa, through Europe, Scandinavia, India and the U.S. On the way, they have picked up tales and songs that they perform together with stories behind each of them. Their performances have been described as magical, inspiring, haunting and mesmerizing. The performance will be held on Mar. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Martha Liebert Public Library. The event is free, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP by calling (505) 867-1440.
