2024 Sports Writing and Logo Contest

The Bernalillo Community Museum is looking to highlight the significant role that sports holds within society. Therefore, to be able to explore this topic more in-depth students are asked to examine the unique ways in which sports can influence an individual, a community, or even a nation. To do this the Bernalillo Community Museum is holding two contests. For the first contest, students can create a nonfiction essay for a sports team of their choice. Then for the second contest students can design a logo for a sports team that has a positive message, is inspirational, or represents a specific location or community. The winner of each contest will be featured in the History of Sports Exhibition at the Museum and receive a $75 gift card to the Range Café. For more information on the contests please go to bernalillomuseum.org.
