
On March 5, 2024, the City of Rio Rancho will hold an election to elect City Councilors for Districts 1, 4, and 6 to 4-year terms. The ballot will also include three general obligation bond questions for public safety, roads, and other quality-of-life facilities.
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 9, eligible, registered voters interested in seeking office must submit a Declaration of Candidacy form, which can be found in the Candidate Guide, to the City Clerk’s Office located at Rio Rancho City Hall at 3200 Civic Center Circle.
The Candidate Guide can be found at www.rrnm.gov/rrvotes, or in person in the Office of the City Clerk, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Although its not required, anyone interested in meeting face-to-face with the clerk should schedule an in-person appointment with the City Clerk may do so by contacting the office at 505-891-5004.
